June 29: Okemo Bicycle Hill Climb – A challenging 5.8 mile uphill bike race to the top of Okemo Mountain along Route 103 and Mountain Road. Based at Jackson Gore Village, this is the fifth year for this event and it is affiliated with the Bike Up Mountain Points Series (BUMPS), a series of 11 uphill races held throughout New England. July 6: Red, White & Blues Festival - Okemo Mountain Resort celebrates Independence Day with an all-American concert featuring popular blues artists Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers, The Chris Kleeman Band, Gracie Curran and The Dave Keller Band. Admission is free and music starts at noon. The lawn in the courtyard at Okemo’s Jackson Gore Inn is transformed into an outdoor concert venue for the day. Families are welcome, and all attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Okemo’s culinary staff will be serving frosty-cold beverages and fresh-from-the-grill burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and more.
