Now, more than ever, skiers and riders are shopping for bargains on lift tickets and Okemo Mountain Resort offers the ultimate deal - free. Surprisingly, there are a number of ways to ski and snowboard free at Okemo Mountain Resort. Additionally, some offers are like free, potentially free and practically free.
Every morning, the first hour is free at Okemo. The first 60 minutes of lift service is complimentary every day of the winter season so Okemo skiers and riders can sample the snow conditions before they purchase a lift ticket. Try-Before-You-Buy is valid midweek from 9 to 10 a.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 to 9 a.m.
Please note:
Pre-purchased tickets do not qualify for this option. After the First Hour, it will be unlawful to access Okemo's lifts without a valid lift ticket or season pass under Vermont's Theft of Services Laws 13, V.S.A. 2581 & 2582. Skiing or riding without a lift ticket or pass, or with a fraudulent lift ticket or pass will result in prosecution. Lift tickets are non-refundable and no vouchers will be issued or extended for weather or lift-related situations.
Use of Okemo's lower mountain surface lifts is free all the time - every day, all season long. At Okemo's Clock Tower base area, the F-10 Carpet is 400 feet long and accesses the Fairway trail. At Jackson Gore, the Stargazer Carpet and Orion's Belt Carpet combine for an 800-foot ride to the top of Bright Star Basin.
Overnight Ski & Stay guests who book a two-night, or more, midweek stay (Sunday through Thursday) through Okemo Mountain Resort Properties' reservation system (online at Okemo.com or by calling 1-800-78-OKEMO) will enjoy an afternoon of free skiing or riding on their arrival day.

Okemo's Monday Morning Quarterback offer invites snowsports enthusiasts to ski or ride for $1 per point on Monday, February 8. The price of a full-day lift ticket will be charged at $1 per point, based on the total combined points scored during Sunday's Big Game. If the final score of the game is 21 to 7, the price of a lift ticket on Monday will be $28. How low could it go? A scoreless game could result in a day of free skiing and riding. However, the lowest combined score in Super Bowl history was 21 points in 1973. In case of a high-score game, Okemo is capping the Feb. 8 lift ticket price at $59.
