Guest Services at Okemo

At Okemo, we've got 2,200 vertical feet of positive outlook and it shows. Diane Mueller personally trains every employee. Ski culture is what she teaches. And service with a smile is the linchpin of her philosophy. Every interaction with our guests, on and off the mountain, is an opportunity to turn a skier or rider into a lifelong member of our family. Our employees reflect this attitude by having fun doing what they do best - creating a memorable mountain experience.

Mountain Ambassadors & Guided Tours

You will see these friendly and informative Ambassadors on weekends and holiday periods riding on the shuttle buses, surveying guests, greeting skiers and riders in the drop off areas, giving mountain tours and skiing and snowboarding with trail maps in-hand ready to assist and direct guests to the on-mountain "hot spots."

Stop by the Mountain Information Booth, located by the Sugar House Lodge and catch up on "what’s hot" at Okemo for the day. Mountain Ambassadors will provide updated information on snow conditions and their "trail pick of the day", plus they offer guided tours of the mountain to intermediate and advanced skiers and riders (weekends and holiday vacation weeks) from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. All that's needed is a lift ticket to join the tour group and explore Okemo's vast trail network!

The Demo Center

The Okemo Performance Demo Center brings you the latest gear from today’s leading names in snowsports including Salomon, Atomic, Elan, Rossignol and Burton. Try all the new ski-binding systems, fat skis, twin-tips, carving skis, racing skis, snowblades…even Telemark skis…it’s all there. Full-day, half-day and hourly rentals, or get your own gear ready at the Demo Center with a QuickEdge, hot wax, or a full tune. Go to our Demo Center page for more information.

Photos By Reflex

Take your memories home with you! Color photographs area available through Photos By Reflex, located in the Okemo and Jackson Gore Base Lodges. Photographers shoot individual, family and group photos with no initial fee or obligation. Proofs available for viewing the same day.

Equipment Storage Options - Convenient Locations!

Stor-A-Ski
Take advantage of Okemo's innovative day and overnight storage for skis and snowboards. Skiers and riders have unlimited in/out access all day and can store their skis and snowboards overnight and eliminate the bother of carrying equipment back and forth each day – located by the Okemo Base Lodge and Quads A & B.

Overnight Storage at Jackson Gore
The Okemo Repair Shop at Jackson Gore offers overnight ski and snowboard equipment storage for skiers and riders. This handy service eliminates the need to carry equipment back and forth each day. Skiers and riders can drop off their equipment at the end of the day and pick it up the next morning. You don't need to be a guest of the Jackson Gore Inn to take advantage of this convenience option.

Basket Room
This handy storage option offers an alternative to conventional coin-operated lockers. A daily fee allows you to store, and have unlimited access to your belongings in a convenient and secure storage area with small and large baskets available. Located inside the Okemo Base Lodge next to the Learning Center Desk, the Basket Room also offers overnight and multi-day storage options for personal belongings. Open 7:30am on weekends and holidays and 8:30am midweek, closes at 4:30pm.

Coin-Operated Lockers
You can also store your personal belongings in our conventional coin-operated lockers in the Okemo and Jackson Gore base areas.

Safety is our Priority

Strategically positioned in seven locations around the mountain, Ski Patrol and First Aid services are never far away. If you are in need of assistance, please proceed to the nearest Patrol House. Also, any lift attendant would be happy to contact the patrol for you. Call via cell phone at (802) 228-1496 daily from 8 am to 4 pm.

Okemo's Shuttle Services

The Okemo Village Shuttle System makes frequent stops at convenient locations throughout the Ludlow/Proctorsville region. This complimentary service operates throughout the winter season on weekends and holiday periods starting December 24 and running through March. (Shuttles do not run on Christmas Day).

The Okemo Resort Shuttle serves Okemo Mountain Resort Properties (rental guests & owners), the Jackson Gore Inn and base area, the Okemo base area, Okemo Valley Nordic Center and Willie Dunn's Grille. The Resort Shuttle runs 7-days a week starting early December through March. (Shuttles will not run on Christmas Day). Resort Shuttle schedules can be picked up inside the Okemo Mountain Service Office, or the Okemo Welcome Center.
