Trot-it-Off 5k Race and Tots Trot |

Join us for the 2009 Okemo Trot it Off!
The 1st Annual Okemo Trot it Off 5k will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Jackson Gore Round House.
The Okemo Trot if Off is a family and community-oriented event that takes place each year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The 5k race is perfect for the avid runner or the family looking to get a little extra exercise on Thanksgiving weekend.
The cost to enter the Turkey Trot is $25 per person. All proceeds from the event go to support the Vermont Fuel Dealer Association’s Patch Chit Neighbor in Need Fuel Assistance Program. Each participant will receive a t-shirt with their entry.
The Tots Trot, a kids fun race will take place just before the adult 5k. The course will take children up to age 12 around the Jackson Gore Inn with a finish line through the archway. Kids and parents who are not running the 5k can then enter the Roundhouse for some hot apple cider and fresh yogurt from Stonyfield. After the 5k race is finished participants of all ages are encouraged to join in the Roundhouse a post-race snack.
Schedule of events:
8am Registration opens ($25 registration fee for adults / $15 for kids up to age 12)
9am Tots Trot Kids Fun Race begins
9:15am – Roundhouse opens for activities
9:30am – 5k begins

Showcase the tricks and style you learned this summer on a brand new Rail. Open to Skiers and Snowboarders of all ages. $20 entry fee. Registration 8-10am in the Base Lodge Mezzanine. Event starts at 11am. Best overall trick walks away with $200 in cash. Lots of swag too! |
