Okemo's teaching pros know how to get everyone gliding in style, no matter what your age or ability level. Their passion for the sport and their commitment to fun instruction and encouragement will help you meet whatever the challenge on the slopes. The Okemo Ski & Ride School offers skiing and snowboarding programs for every age and ability level, including some new options to keep it fresh, fun, and exciting. Our afternoon options are outlined below. Looking for morning lesson options? 

BEGINNER GROUP LESSONS
(Levels 1-4; ski or board)

Group lessons are available every afternoon at 1:30 pm for ability levels 1-4. If you're looking for a great beginner value package, we highly recommend our First Tracks and Double Tracks programs. Looking for morning lesson options?

First Tracks & Double Tracks Beginner Value Packages (Levels 1-2)

First Tracks is for skiers or snowboarders who want to learn the basics. With First Tracks you'll get a complete rental package, two beginner group lessons, and unlimited use of Okemo's lower mountain lifts. First Tracks takes place from 10 am to Noon & from 1 pm - 3 pm.

Double Tracks is a two-day program that builds on the skills learned in the first day of riding by getting students back out for a second straight day. Double Tracks includes three lessons, two on the first day, and one the morning of the second day. On Day 2, your lift ticket can be upgraded to a full-day, full mountain lift ticket. Double Tracks takes place from 10 am to Noon & from 1 pm - 3 pm on day one; and from 10 am to Noon on Day Two.

First Tracks Plus Card! When you purchase a First Tracks or Double Tracks learn-to-ski or learn-to-snowboard package, you'll receive a coupon that you may redeem at Okemo's Mountain Service Centers for your very own First Tracks Plus Card entitling you to:

• discount on further group lessons
• discounts on further rental package purchases
• discounts on non-sale retail items at the Okemo SnowSports Center

Cancellation Policy: Reservations are charged in full when booked and are non-refundable for First Tracks and Double Tracks Programs. If given at least 2-day notice, changed or cancelled reservations will be vouchered for future purchase. If less than 2-day notice is given, a $35 processing fee will be assessed, and the balance vouchered for future purchase. If no notice is given prior to the date reserved, no voucher will be issued.

AFTERNOON ADVENTURE WORKSHOPS
(For intermediate and advanced riders, ski or board)

Adventure Workshops are available every afternoon at 1:30 p.m for ability levels 5 & above. You want to focus in on your favorite thing to do on the slopes. You want personalized attention and top notch coaching while still getting the chance to ride with a couple of your peers who are into the same thing. These workshops are topic focused, have a maximum of 3 participants, and will give you all the tips and pointers to get you where you want to be. Join a small group or form your own. Looking for morning lesson options? Advance reservations are highly recommended.

Ski Workshop Options  All Mountain Carvers  - Let us know what you'd like to develop for a skill, what trail you might like to conquer, or what part of the mountain you'd like to explore. Park & Park - Learn to ski Okemo’s wild and exciting terrain parks and Superpipes. We’ll show you how to maneuver through Okemo’s rails, hits, and pipes. Bumps - Whether you’re just getting started in the moguls or you’re looking to take your bump skiing to a new level, let Okemo’s pros provide the personalized coaching to get you there.

Snowboard Workshop Options  Park & Park - Spend the afternoon with coaching from Okemo's best learning new moves and tactics on Okemo's big hits and rails. Freeride  - What would you like to work on? Let us know what you'd like to develop for a skill, what trail you might like to conquer, or what part of the mountain you would like to explore.

LESSON PROGRAM RATES

** Maximum 3 people per workshop per instructor.

Notes and Meeting Points:

• Group Lessons meet at Lower Meeting Area and Jackson Gore Meeting Area.
• Adventure Workshops meet at the Base Upper Meeting Area only.
• Meeting areas and lesson schedules are subject to change prior to December 13, 2008 and after March 21, 2009.
• Purchase of a lift ticket is necessary for all lessons requiring use of a chairlift.
• Lessons and clinics may ski/ride terrain other than those indicated in the lesson/clinic descriptions. Terrain selection is at the discretion of the individual instructor based upon the ability level of the group, as well as trail and weather conditions of the day.
