Innkeepers Series 2009

It's time again to start thinking about the Innkeepers Race Series! The first race of the 2009 Okemo Innkeepers Series is scheduled for Tuesday, Decmeber 9th, 2008. Please note that we are starting the Series almost a month earlier than in previous years. We are accepting team registrations at this time and we ask that all team registrations are completed and into the Competition Center by December 1st, 2008. Any local business or group is invited to field a team, and we would love to hear from you if you are interested in racing and need help filling your team roster. Registration for the season is $200, $150 for a senior team, and $125 for an establishment who hosts an Apres- Innkeepers Party. Individuals who do not have a team and wish to race are welcome as well. We can help you find a team to join, or may be able help you form one with other competitors in the same situation.

All skiers and riders age 18 and up are eligible to compete, and teams can be 4-6 members, with at least one female member on each team. Each week, 4 times from each team will count towards the end of the year standings.

Races begin at 10:00 A.M. and finish at 12:30 P.M.

Races will be held on most Tuesdays through the ski season with the exception of President’s Week in February, 2009. In addition, there will be no races held on two other Tuesdays through the season as Okemo Mountain will be hosting large events those weeks. The final race will be held on March 17th, or on March 24th. There will be an party at a local establishment each Tuesday which will begin around 5:00 P.M..
