Great News! - The Jackson Gore Inn at Okemo Mountain Resort has been awarded recognition as a Green Hotel in the Green Mountain State.  The honorable designation reflects a commitment to pollution prevention and exemplary environmental stewardship. This statewide voluntary, environmental technical assistance and business recognition program is designed to promote and recognize the work of Vermont lodgers who demonstrate daily that environmental and economic goals can be achieved simultaneously.  The first ski resort based hotel in southern Vermont to achieve the Green Hotel designation, learn more about the Jackson Gore Inn’s commitment at www.vtgreenhotels.org.

Okemo Mountain Resort was recently awarded runner-up for the National Ski Area Association’s Silver Eagle Award for Energy Conservation/Clean Energy. Our efficiency upgrades in snowmaking, retrofitting older buildings with more efficient lighting, and Triple Peak LLC's wind energy offset commitments were highlighted.  Read more about the awards on the NSAA website.
