"Waa Waa!"  The joyful battle cry can be heard echoing from one end of the resort to the other when Okemo Mountain Resort's Women's Alpine Adventures programs are in session. It's an emotional release signifying pure delight in the sense of discovery and accomplishment that comes with participation in Okemo's two-, three-, and five-day women's programs.

This program has women returning year after year to take part in a program designed exclusively for women and led by some of the best women ski and snowboard coaches in the business. Their goal is to take skiing and snowboarding women to the next level in any snow conditions and on any terrain. Participants quickly overcome fear, boost their confidence and meet new friends in a supportive and social environment.

All program participants receive special lodging rates at Okemo's Jackson Gore Inn with delicious meals prepared by the wonderful staff in the Roundhouse.  For those guests staying offsite, Okemo provides free overnight ski storage, preferred daytime parking and a discount on use of the Spring House.

Not sure what level? 

Level 1 -Never skied or snowboarded before.
Level 2 - You can hold a wedge or slide in a straight run.
Level 3 - You make beginning (wedge) turns and stops and want to develop more control and confidence.
Level 4 - You are riding the chairlift and making rounded, controlled (wedge) turns (both directions) on green terrain. Now its time to explore more advanced terrain.

PREMIER 5-DAY ADVENTURE PROGRAM - $685

This program gives the chance to really immerse yourself in skiing and riding. It includes five full days of intensive, personalized instruction and coaching, a 5-day lift ticket, indoor presentations and video analysis.

You'll have breakfast and lunch served daily, plus a Welcome Party on day one. There's also optional massage service (for an additional fee), the chance to try alternative equipment, and a farewell banquet. COMPLETE 3-DAY ADVENTURE PROGRAM - $545

A long weekend or three less crowded midweek days can make a big difference. These 3-day getaways include on-snow instruction, a 3-day lift ticket, and a Welcome Party, as well as breakfast and lunch each day. Video analysis, indoor presentations, fun with alternative gear, and optional massage service (for an additional fee) round out each weekend's activities. This is a great way to get away, enjoy some time on the slopes, advance your skills, and take care of yourself.

INTENSIVE 2-DAY ADVENTURE PROGRAM - $380

If you can get away during the week, we'll make it well worth your while. Enjoy a 2-Day Alpine Adventure with women who want to improve their skiing or riding ability on wide-open, midweek slopes. There's a welcome party on the night you arrive, breakfast and lunch daily, and a 2-day lift ticket.

Directions to the Jackson Gore Inn

Learn how to get here from there! Keep in mind that participants in the Women's Alpine Adventure receive preferred parking at Jackson Gore. Look for the preferred parking signage starting on Route 103.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

A minimum deposit of 50% is required to guarantee a reservation with the balance due upon arrival. Once made, any change to the reservation will be assessed a fee of $35. If a change or cancellation is made with less than two weeks notice, you will forfeit 25% of the program fee.

Meet Maria Tomaselli, Women's Alpine Adventures Director

Honored by Skiing magazine as one of "America's Best Instructors," Maria has been with Okemo for many years and has a strong personal dedication to sports education for women. She is PSIA certified in both ski and snowboard instruction and has extensive experience coaching other sports as well. Her credentials include Level 3 PSIA with a Children's Specialist 1 Certification, Level 2 AASI, and Level 1 NSP Avalanche. Maria is uniquely qualified to direct this program and has built it into a truly special experience for all those who take part in it.
